Barely used them because of my small room, but i’ve tried a little bit at the beginning, feeling so cool!

The Wii Thrustmaster Motion Plus Tennis rackets seemed like a good idea to me. After all, I play REAL tennis, too. Maybe the real feel of a racket would help with Wii performance. I was pleased to see that the rackets accommodate the Motion Plus accessory. My Wii performance decreased using the rackets, however, so I won’t use them again. The only obvious reason I can imagine for this decline in performance is the wind resistance of swinging the racket. It makes a loud SWOOSH when swung. Having to pop the controller out of the racket every time I need to navigate a menu gets old fast.
Other notes:
1. the controller fits into the racket in an easy and intuitive way, including the Motion Plus accessory
2. the racket does not feel more like an actual racket, but it does look cute
3. I’m dead serious about this, though it sounds too funny to be true that the manufacturer would include these accessories: the rackets come with plugs for the controller ports and a foam ball for when you decide, as I have, to let your kids play with the rackets in the yard. Best possible use for these rackets, IMHO!I received these free of charge through the Vine program. I like to help potential buyers by letting them know whether I would have purchased the Vine offerings, and been happy with my purchases. I MIGHT have purchased these if they had not been a complimentary Vine offering, but I would have been incredibly disappointed to have paid for these rackets, since they have no discernible benefit over playing with the controller alone.

Bought the thrustmaster racquets for Virtua Tennis. Once you insert the controller into the raquet and attach the Motion plus the game doesn’t pick up the signal. So in other words, you can’t play the game and you can’t make your player swing or have any movement. Really not worth it. So now we play without the racquets.

Pros.: Beautiful design, like real rockets.
Bad: Very bad engineering. Rocket with controller is really heavy when together. Controller inside is not fixed properly (shakes during play) and feels very cheep in the hand. One of the rockets was broken during first play, because of the poor engineering and cheep plastic used.

I have Wii Sports, and playing tennis was so-so in the past. Tonight using these rackets makes the game totally different. Its much more like playing real tennis, and I have way more control of the racket and ball. Add the Wii Motion Plus controllers on to the bottom of my controller ( had to remove the motion plus from the plastic case which was kinda a pain ), and even more like playing real tennis. I am going to purchase another Wii Tennis game now, as I am having so much fun playing tennis now with these rackets I am bored with Wii Sports Tennis
Again if you love playing Tennis with your Wii, these rackets are a must!
