Plugs into a outlet so the remotes are always charged. The only bad part is there was only 2 remote holders. But beware I also own the larger charger which plugs into the console which only works when the wi is on. This was a better buy. Thanks to Amazon slapping a large label on the exterior of the packaging announcing that it's a Wii Charger, the surprise is ruined. I'm highly disappointed in Amazon for allowing this to take place. I buy thousands of dollars of product each year from Amazon and this really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Who could have ever thought that this would be a good idea, especially at this time of year??? When this is the only "big" gift for Christmas, Amazon has ruined the surprise for an entire family...why bother wrapping. Shame on you Amazon. <br /> <br />I also feel that there is something foul at Amazon when the "standard" clam shell packaging is more than $20 more than the "frustration free" packaging!?!?
